At Skates.co.uk, we help people find the right products to get started, improve, and enjoy riding.

That’s where we come in.
Where It Started
Skates.co.uk began back in 2004, originally as Flywalk.co.uk.
It all started when our founder was given a pair of Heelys as a gift. Wherever he went, people kept asking where they could get a pair. At the time, they were almost impossible to find in the UK.
With the support of family, Flywalk was created to bring Heelys to the UK market.
What started in a bedroom, with stock stored in garden sheds, quickly grew as demand increased. By 2006, the business had moved into its first warehouse, and before long, it had expanded across multiple units.
In 2007, Skates.co.uk was launched, starting with a small range of skates and scooters. As interest in skating and scooters grew, so did the business.
Over the years, we’ve expanded our range to include a wide variety of products, from beginner setups to more advanced equipment, always based on what our customers are looking for.
Today, we operate from a large warehouse with a dedicated team, but we’ve kept the same family-run approach we started with.
