VertX and they're amazing new parts hit our shores a couple of months ago, and I just had to snatch them up. The Beautiful deck design and gorgeous wheels meant that I had to grab me some and see what all the fuss was about! I've been riding these parts for around 3 months now, so here's my thoughts.
The Deck - VertX I-Beam with X-ray Headtube. 20" long, 4.5" wide, 82o headtube angle.
This deck is amazing! its such a departure from other decks available in the UK and gives an amazing U.S style street feel. Longer and more upright, its just the perfect deck to unleash your inner street BOSS!
on the downside, it is slightly heavy, but its strength means you will probably never need to buy another deck!
The Wheels - VertX talons. 110mm, orange.
These are some of the best wheels I have ever ridden. Whilst being quite hard to the touch they ride like far softer wheels, offering both grip and long life.
The other bonus is they look mean as hell! with an awesome claw like hub, with all the excess weighty material cut away.
All in all my experience of VertX parts has been second to none, and id recommend them to anyone
