which skates to buy

Hi have been going ice skating as a hobby and i now want to buy my own skates as this will save my money on the hire. which ones should i buy figure skates or hockey. i have worn both and the hockey seen chunkier but more comphy. so what do you recomend.

It depends entirely on your skating style, figure skates would be better for just skating around where as Hockey skates are designed for short bursts and quick stops.
