The members of the Artistic Roller Skating Club of North Walsham took part in two competitions and fared very well.

Five roller skaters from the club traveled all the way to Newton Aycliffe to compete in the Tyne Tees Tournament. The five skaters bagged a total of 12 medals.

Hannah Messenger attained 5th place out of 16 in her first ever figure skating competition in this particular discipline. Emily Grapes won the bronze medal and Victoria Brown claimed the first place in her group.

The free skating section also saw two other gold medals for Katrina White and Victoria competing for the first time in the event. Katrina came fourth.

Emily received a silver medal in the solo dance competition. The young skater also achieved fourth place in creative dance and her original set pattern.

The coach for North Walsham, Victoria also achieved first place in her creative dance while dancing to music from Chicago.

Freyja Gosling-Belfield came eighth among 18 skaters by performing 2 excellent compulsory dances. Freyja also skated duos along with Hannah for the first time and was very happy to be placed seventh.
