Description & Features

Antik Skate Boots are hand-made by craftsmen with decades of boot production experience, who spare no expense, and only use the highest quality materials to ensure comfort, performance, and durability.

Created by skater Quadzilla to be a high performance boot made specifically for roller derby players. The goal was to be the most comfortable and technical roller skate boot on the market.

The Antik AR-1 roller skate boot is fine-tuned for roller derby, featuring 3/4" uppers for extra ankle support and stability - the only boot of its kind. The genuine full-grain leather is extra soft, and also allows for flexibility as well as support. Lacing loops in the back let you wrap the laces around your ankle to create a snug Achilles cinch for extra heel security.

Also check out the addition of an integrated, shock-absorbing heel with a leather sole. By using an integrated heel, the boot stays flat on the bottom, which allows for full contact between the boot and plate to eliminate flexing in the heel gap. But the heel is built into the boot, so you get the benefits of a raised heel.

Antik AR-1 boots also feature heat-moldable counters on both sides of the boot to provide resistance for side-to-side lateral movements. The Antik AR-1 skate boots meet the needs of modern roller derby players, who don't just skate laps, and need counters on both sides for juking and quick-stepping. Antik AR-1 boots also feature genuine chinook leather interior lining, which mold to your feet as the leather softens, and offer a more precise fit because the liner won't break down over time like synthetic liners.

Fitted with PowerDyne Revenge plates. The Reactor meets the Triton to create the Revenge plate. Based on the wide foot plate design of the Triton that offers enhanced stability, the Revenge is constructed of the same extruded aluminum as the Reactor for weight reduction and increased durability. High-quality urethane cushions (bushings) come standard on the Revenge, offering unmatched rebound and life among stock plate cushions. Top cushions on the Revenge are a unique conical shape that provide more action and a greater range of motion for you when you need it most. Revenge plates accept toe plugs or adjustable toe stops and come in a right/left plate design with off-set toe stops and polished trucks.

Gumball toestops are designed and made specifically with roller derby in mind. Made with all natural rubber and an aluminum stem (to reduce weight). Gumball Toe Stops have the perfect balance of grip and durability necessary for quick stops and fast starts.

The KwiK ABEC-9 bearings are constructed of quality chrome steel races and have been proven to deliver a smooth roll time after time.

Fit Guidelines: General fit is med-wide across top of foot, forefoot and toe box. Narrow heel cup for secure fit.

Sizing Guidelines: Antik boots run large and its recommended to order 2 sizes smaller than shoe size for women. 1 size down from shoe size for men.

Level of Skater: Targeted toward intermediate through advanced players.
