Description & Features

The Riedell R3 Roller Derby Skates are an excellent starter derby skate. The R3 vinyl boot comes with a alot of padding to provide acomfortable fit and a quality entry level skate. They come fitted with Radar Cayman wheels with Powerdyne nylon plates, metal trucks and Kwik ABEC 5 bearings complete this excellent value package.

The Cayman wheels come loaded with grip and roll. while the speed groove technology increases maneuverability without reducing speed.

The PowerDyne™ Thrust Nylon Plates are durable black nylon plates with polished metal trucks for an exceptional performance. They are a reinforced durable nylon plate, with a 15 degree kingpin angle for enhanced power transfer and adjustable metal trucks. The plates are lightweight and perfect for a beginner skate such as the R3.

This boot is very versatile and forgiving. It has virtually no break-in time, and you can use them right out of the box with no discomfort. The height of the heel is higher than most speed-type boots, making it ideal for the transition a beginner skater makes between rental skates and derby skating boots.

A perfect combination of performance and value has made the R3, one of the most popular skate in rinks everywhere.
