would the paint cover mgp team edition (purple)?

would the purple paint cover scratches on the mgp team edition 2011 (purple) would it be a slightly different colour or exactly the same? Also when will this be coming into stock? Thank you for cooperation

This is quite a different colour to the Team Edition Purple as this one is darker and metallic.
