Description & Features

The latest edition to the MGP range is the MGP Beginner Pro BP1 Scooter - an absolute ideal first scooter for those young riders wanting to learn the skills and tricks that the Madd Team perform.

Madd Gear have specifically designed the Beginner Pro scooter for younger riders who are new to extreme scootering. This scooter is perfect for kids aged 5-8 who want to test their mettle down their local skatepark.

The MGP Beginner Pro arrives with a solid one-piece deck that is securely bolted together making the deck far sturdier than standard folding scooters.

The 100mm / 98a wheels are constructed from a hardwearing composite which has been selected for it's long life. Inside MGP have fitted ZXZ - C PRO bearings which offer the benefit of both speed and comfort when riding.

MGP have also selected an oversized double clamp which firmly grips the handlebars to the forks whilst helping to spread any pressure put on the bottom of the bars when your riding hard and fast on your scooter.

All in all, if you're looking at purchasing an entry-level extreme scooter, than you'll be hard pressed to find a better option than the MGP Beginner Pro scooter!

Whilst MGP lists this product as suitable from ages 8+, from experience, we can recommend it for younger/beginner riders aged 5+.

NOTE: Manufactures and Skates.co.uk cannot provide warranty on any of the Scooters used in any extreme way. Once assembly is attempted, the manufacturer will only replace what they deem as defective or faulty parts. The entire scooter will not be replaced, new parts will be sent direct to customer. This entire process can take an average of 3-5 days upon receipt into our returns department.

What is the handle width. Best quality for a 7 year old.

Looking for an upgrade for my 7 year old thats not too big, as a lot of them seem to be, but still looking for good quality. Any suggestions, I like MGP, but not sure about quality of the beginner pro. Many thanks.

Yes, the BP1 scooter would be suitable for that age group, up until about 11. The BP1 is a good beginner scooter for getting to grips with the balance and technique involved in scootering.
