Goods and Services

Prices and availability of goods and services are subject to change. All Prices include VAT. While we try and ensure that all prices on Skates.co.uk are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error we shall inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If you cancel, and you have already paid for the goods or services, you will receive a full refund.

Stock permitting, if you order before 3pm, you should recieve your order the next working day as long as the item is in stock and being delivered to a UK mainland address. However, it should be noted this service is not guaranteed. 

We offer a 30-day returns period for unused goods starting from the day after delivery.

We do not impose a ‘re-stocking charge’ for returned goods. The customer must take reasonable care of item that they wish to return. Items that are returned showing signs of use will be sent back to you, without refund or exchange, unless they are proven to be faulty from the point of sale. The customer will be responsible for any return costs.

If the goods supplied are faulty we will refund the full amount including P&P, providing the customer can conclusively prove this is a genuine circumstance.

Skates.co.uk cannot replace or warranty any scooter used in extreme use or at a skate park due to the nature of use they get put through.

When an order is being delivered by FedEx, you are required to sign for the parcel, if you know that you will be absent during the day, FedEx will attempt delivery with a neighbour. Under no circumstances can the special delivery section of the purchase screen, be used to request the order to be left in secure locations like in the porch, shed or behind the bins. The special delivery section is strictly for instructions for the drivers if you have a narrow road, or their is a low bridge.

Please note it is not possible to exercise the right to cancel by refusing to sign for the parcel on arrival. Customers needs to exercise their right in writing or in another durable medium.

Do not refuse a delivery from the courier company as the cost involved in processing & return delivery fees amount to £15, this cost will be passed onto yourself as a customer, when it'll be cheaper to accept the item and return via our standard returns procedures.

Please note that refunds can take up to 3 working days to appear in your account.If a request is made to change the address of an order after it is dispatched an extra charge of £9.95 may be incurred.

Unfortunately we are unable to sell scooters pre built to customers outside of the UK. Customers will be refunded if they try to do this.

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that information on the Skates.co.uk site is correct, we shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use Skates.co.uk or any information contained on it or from any action or decision taken as a result of using Skates.co.uk site or any such information.

By purchasing with Skates.co.uk you agree to receive occasional newsletters and updates via email or SMS text messages. You can easy unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any newsletter / update.

Any page that has a Youtube video embeded will employ 3rd party cookies from Youtube for the purposes of accurately tracking the number of views a video has. No personal or identifiable information is collected.

We use cookies from Amazon Cloud Front services to improve the speed of our website during busy periods.
