Goods and Services

Prices and availability of goods and services are subject to change. While we try and ensure that all prices on Skates.co.uk are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error we shall inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If you cancel, and you have already paid for the goods or services, you will receive a full refund.

Stock permitting, if you order before 4pm, you should recieve your order the next working day as long as the item is in stock and being delivered to a UK mainland address. However, it should be noted this service is not guaranteed. 

We allow you a 30-day ‘cooling off’ period for returns. (All the data that we have seen indicates this will increase your net sales.

We do not impose a ‘re-stocking charge’ for returned goods. However we do ask that the package takes ‘reasonable care’ of the goods and packaging prior to any return.

If the goods supplied are faulty we will refund the full amount including P&P, providing the customer can conclusively prove this is a genuine circumstance.

Skates.co.uk cannot replace or warranty any scooter used in extreme use or at a skate park due to the nature of use they get put through.

When an order is being delivered by Yodel, you are required to sign for the parcel, if you know that you will be absent during the day, Yodel will attempt delivery with a neighbour. Under no circumstances can the special delivery section of the purchase screen, be used to request the order to be left in secure locations like in the porch, shed or behind the bins. The special delivery section is strictly for instructions for the drivers if you have a narrow road, or their is a low bridge.

We recommend you do not refuse a delivery from the courier company as the cost involved in processing & return delivery fees amount to £15, this cost will be passed onto yourself as a customer, when it'll be cheaper to accept the item and return via our standard returns procedures. 

Our Liability

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that information on the Skates.co.uk site is correct, we shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use Skates.co.uk or any information contained on it or from any action or decision taken as a result of using Skates.co.uk site or any such information.

By purchasing with Skates.co.uk you agree to receive occasional newsletters and updates via email. You can easy unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any newsletter / update.

Law

These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising from or in connection with them shall be governed by the laws of England and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. We do not make any promise that the materials on the Skates.co.uk site are appropriate or available for use in locations outside the United Kingdom and using the Skates.co.uk site from territories where its use or material or contents is unlawful is prohibited.
