Scooter Grips - Buying Guide
Skates.co.uk has the parts you need to replace or upgrade your existing handlebar grips. We provide foam and rubber grips from brands such as Savage, JD Bug, Yak, Slamm, and many others. Our range is as individual as you are. Donﾒt worry if your kidsﾒ scooter isn't the same brand as the accessory you wish to purchase as most grips will fit any scooter. Which one is right for me?
There are a wide range of grips available for every type of rider, here are some important things to consider when choosing yours.
- Money - You don't want to spend more than is necessary, however the quality of a product can be discerned by the cost. The higher the cost, the better quality you are likely to get.
- Skill Level - All are suitable for beginners and recreational riders, but for anyone more experienced in extreme sports or park riding, you would get the most out of purchasing a higher end product. The more comfortable you are with the grips, the more confidence you will have when performing stunts at a skate park or simply coasting along with your friends.
- Foam or Rubber ﾖ Most recreational scooters come with standard foam grips for comfort and basic use. Stunt scooters typically come with rubber grips, which provide a better grip due to itﾒs raised surface and will often have a longer lifespan. These are interchangeable, we simply recommend choosing the best style and colour options that suits you!
Ability and Age
All handlebar grips are suitable for use with both recreational and extreme scooter riders at any ability level and at any age.
Warranty Information
You will need to notify us of any major defects when you first receive your product. There is typically a 90 day warranty on parts, this does not cover normal wear and tear. Once a product has been used the supplier will not usually replace the entire item. We will look at this on a case by case basis to determine the nature of defect or damage and make every effort to provide the best overall customer experience.
