Description & Features

Madd Gear have taken one of their most popular original models (Base) and have upgraded the specifications for more intense riders who require more from their scooters.

The Team Edition features upgraded 100mm Areo metal core wheels with superior Krunk K-1 bearings. Metal core wheels like these are perfect for riders who are constantly destroying plastic core wheels.

Madd Gear only ever use top quality material on their scooters. The bars have been constructed from chromoly (which is far lighter and stronger than standard steel). In addition, the Team Edition features Y-Bars instead of conventional T-Bars. These additional struts spread the pressure put on your bars when riding, helping to ensure your scooter lasts much longer!

mgp team edition

Very good quality scooter for our son. He is over the moon with it. Sadly one wheel dehubbed but it has been replaced promptly & without any problems.

I brougt this product for my son i have to agree it looks amazing its smooth to ride fantastic for the the the price the grips are lovly and gripy but my son brougt new ones :( is very strong and you shouls buy it

wich colour for a team edition mgp should i get?

im getting a scooter tomoz and i dont know wich colour to get what colour do you recomend?

will this work for me?

hello iv only just started scootering. ive already got a slamm rage II but it broke REALY easely and i was thinking of moveing to an MGP as they ar a well trusted make. should i get the junior pro or the base? because they both have plastic core wheels and i wasnt sure if these ones will last longer since it said that MGP only use the best quality parts will the wheels snap after a week? ( i only do street scootering)

As you only do street scootering, you will be quite a robust scooter as generally scooters will get thrown about and smashed up a lot easier on the street than on ramps. I would recommend the MGP Team Edition Scooter as this has metal core wheels, and high quality Krunk parts.

what is the differnces between threaded forks and threadless? and what forks dose this scooter have?

Threaded forks are generally found on entry and intermediate level scooters. Threaded forks have threading drilled into the top of the forks which threaded headsets screw onto. As they’ve been drilled into, there is a natural weakness at these points. If you’ve snapped your threaded forks in the past, it’s worth upgrading to threadless bars. It is possible to use a threadless headset on threaded forks if you use the locking nut from a threaded headset. Threadless forks are generally found on higher-end models. As they haven’t had threading drilled into the tip of the forks, they’re naturally stronger than threaded forks. It’s worth remembering that if you upgrade to threadless forks you’ll have to also fit a threadless headset.

Yes, the wheels are attached. To assemble the scooter from the box, simply slot the handlebars onto the top of the forks then tighten the collar clamp with an allen key.
