[PROD PAGE] Scooter Decks Buying Guide

Skates.co.uk has the parts you need to replace or upgrade your existing scooter. We provide scooter decks from popular brands such as Slamm, Madd Gear and Blunt. Donメt worry if your scooter isn't the same brand as the accessory you wish to purchase as these are often interchangeable. Feel free to give us a call or send an e-mail for advice on whether the part is suitable for your scooter. Don't forget the grip tape!

Which one is right for me?

There are a wide range of decks available for every type of rider, here are some important things to consider when choosing yours.

  • Money - You don't want to spend more than is necessary, however the quality of a product can be discerned by the cost. The higher the cost, the better quality you are likely to get. Higher end scooter decks feature a stronger welding and light weight design.
  • Skill Level - All scooters have either a one-piece or two-piece deck. Whilst two-piece decks benefit from being foldable, they're not as strong as a one-piece deck. If you're not interested in doing any jumps, tricks or stunts, a two-piece deck will be more than sufficient. However if you're more of a daredevil, we'd highly recommend having a one-piece deck as it'll produce less wobble and be far more durable.
  • Size - Deck length depends on the make and model of scooter, most will be around 50cm with an average width of 10cm.
