Grit Tremor Scooters
Don’t worry, this isn’t the kind of tremor you’re supposed to worry about. It’s not going to cause an the end of the world or even worse, huge worm like creatures that come from under the ground, or will it? Please welcome to the stage a Tremor that isn’t looking to eat you, the 2018 Grit Tremor Stunt Scooter!
We’ll start right off with some impressive features that Grit Scooters have upgraded since the last Tremor model a year ago. The brand new deck geometry they’ve included has allowed the scooter deck to work with 110m, 120mm and even 125mm wheels without having to change the deck, impressive right? Grit have stuck with their signature skeletonized down tube and triple channel 6061 Heat Treated Alloy deck to keep its identity and they simply use the saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” with great effect. This new deck measures in at 4.8” (121mm) in width and 19.7” (500mm) in length, making it one of the biggest decks that Grit Scooters have ever produced. We’re not quite done yet, Grit have also given their new deck a 3° concave with integrated grind rails to help all of you riders out there complete some gnarly grinds with ease.
Hey Skates.co.uk, are there any other features that are new or worth knowing about? Well yes dedicated scooter riders, you’d be absolutely right if you thought there was more. The Grit Tremor Stunt Scooter comes with a new Grit Alloy Hybrid Fork with a HIC system, an integrated headset with sealed bearings for a smoother ride and a Grit Flex Fender brake with a brand new curved shape.
The new Grit wheels that they’ve included are 120mm x 28mm Dished Alloy Core wheels that come completed with fitted ABEC 9 Bearings to keep you going for longer at the skatepark and when you’re out and about. But wait ladies and gentlemen, we’ve missed a key component of the outstanding Grit Tremor Scooter, the handlebars! Every single Grit Tremor Scooter now comes fitted with Grit’s now famous Aluminium Battle Bars with this example measuring 610mm (24”) wide and also 610mm (24”) in height! This design plan from Grit Scooters follows through from the Grit Elite Scooter (because it’s proven to be hugely popular!) and goes all the way up to the Grit Invader Scooter, where else can you get sick parts such as the Battle Bars on a wide range of scooters? We’ve got that question answered too, you can’t! Well done to Grit Scooters, you’ve annihilated the competition there.
To finish off this scooter, Grit have decided to go with only 3 different colours this year for the Tremor, keeping it simple and fresh. From the toxic green and black to the ice cold blue and polished and let’s now forget the sage and stealthy black and laser red. All in all Grit Scooters have kept the laser design on their bars to mix into their two tone 160mm premium grips which we are happy to confirm are incredibly comfy.
