Proto Wheels, Grippers, Sliders, Space Decks, Clamps, Bars, Forks
Proto scooters was founded in 2008 and is the known for its iconic scooter wheel designs particularly the 5 spoke scooter wheel which has come to be the company's logo. Proto have also released other stunt scooter parts such as Forks and Bars which all have high quality and are at the forefront of new technology.
Andrew Broussard the founder, grew up with a passion for action sports, and when scooters in the early 2000's begun to start with freestyle tricks, he began to dream about how this could be in the future. The big problem was scooters were not designed to withstand the abuse of the potential sport, and parts would regularly break. Andrew step by step began ever part of a standard foldable scooter of that time and worked out ways by trial and error designs that would stand up to greater beating.
Proto unlike other brands stayed core to who they were, not seeking mass volume sales of products, but instead focusing on true product knowledge from the riders to deliver high end product requirements of the professional riders. Focusing on developing products that feature component compatibility to enable personal customisation of products. Their mission is to bring standards of manufacturing and scooter design to the industry with the needs of our fellow scooter riders as the top priority.
