There are three types of scooter brakes on a scooter: Spring Brakes, Flex/Fender Brakes and Wheel Guards/Pads. Spring brakes are generally found on entry level scooters and have a spring mechanism holding the brake off the wheel, whereas Flex/Fender Brakes are usually found on higher end model scooters and are generally one piece.
Scooter Brakes are often specific to the scooter as they come in a variety of shapes and sizes. For this reason, we recommend you pick a brake the same size as originally provided from the manufacturer.
Finally Scooter Wheel Guards or Pads are used generally by pro level or street riders, that prefer a brakeless setup but like to control the speed of their scooter with the sole of their shoe.
