Most scooter grip tape ranges between 60 and 80 grit. Higher grit numbers mean finer particles that provide smoother grip but less roughness, while lower numbers offer coarser, grippier surfaces. Choose 60–80 grit for a balance of grip and shoe durability.

Many brands offer universal size sheets that fit most decks. Some premium tapes are precut for specific deck shapes. For unusual deck sizes, you may need to trim the tape manually.
