Apex Scooter Forks

Apex forks use 7075 or 6082 T6 aluminium, renowned for its high tensile strength. Each fork is CNC machined, ensuring precise tolerances. They undergo heat treatment for added toughness and are hand-polished for a smooth finish.

The Quantum fork is Apex’s flagship model, known for its clean lines and minimal weight. The newer V3 fork introduces a stronger axle design and improved compatibility with larger wheels. Apex forks are consistently refined to deliver the best strength-to-weight ratio.

Apex forks are primarily HIC and SCS compatible. Some models include a removable starnut, allowing conversion between compression types. Always confirm the fork’s steerer length and whether a starnut is pre-installed.

Apex forks typically support wheels up to 125 mm, although 110 mm is standard. The dropout spacing accommodates 24 mm wheels, and some forks allow 30 mm wheels with appropriate spacers. Always check the model’s specifications.

Press your headset bearings into the deck, insert the fork through the headtube and attach your shim or compression system. Secure everything with the compression bolt. Make sure the fork and deck are aligned properly before tightening the clamp.

Regularly inspect the fork for cracks, especially near the crown. Tighten axle bolts, check compression bolts for security and clean off dirt to prevent corrosion. Replace bent axles or damaged forks immediately to avoid failure during riding.
