Yes. The adhesive is the same as on current models. When applying, make sure the deck is clean and dry to ensure proper adhesion.

No. Clearance grip tape uses the same grit rating (usually 60–80 grit) and durability as regular tape. It provides long‑lasting grip when applied correctly.

Measure your deck’s length and width. Most sheets are 5–6 inches wide and 22–24 inches long. You can trim any overhang after applying the tape.

Absolutely. Use an alcohol wipe to clean the deck surface, peel off the backing, align the tape and press it down from the centre outward to avoid bubbles. Score around the edges with a file and cut off excess with a razor.

You may find limited colourways or patterns in clearance stock. These could include solid colours, patterns or printed logos. Availability varies and sells out quickly.

Replace it when it becomes smooth or starts peeling at the edges. Frequent riders may need new grip tape every few months, while casual riders can go longer.

Grip tape generally isn’t covered by warranties. Once applied, its lifespan depends on riding conditions and frequency of use.
